ENERGY SYSTEMS DESIGN PROGRAM
BUILDING PHYSICS RESEARCH

Recently, owing to a diversification and expansion of the research program into topical areas involving renewable and other energy conversion systems, the Building Physics Research Program has been merged into the Energy Systems Design Program.  In this larger context, building physics research falls into the energy conservation component of more general energy system design and research.

This site is a companion to the Building Foundation Research site and is devoted to promulgating building research that is more general than the specialized area of building foundations, specifically that pertaining to other parts of the envelope.
